About E.B.E. ORL-HNS

The European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (E.B.E. ORL-HNS) is a non-profit association operating under the umbrella of the UEMS (Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes).

It was established to create a unified European standard of knowledge and competence in otorhinolaryngology and remains committed to maintaining the highest professional standards in the specialty.

Since its foundation, the E.B.E. ORL-HNS has collaborated closely with UEMS Sections and Boards, as well as other partner organizations, to develop and deliver examinations recognized across Europe.

Over the years, the examination has grown significantly — with an expanding number of participating member states and a steadily increasing number of successful candidates.
